Jazmin Hammett, founder and CEO of BAT, is an accomplished Learning Strategist and U.S. Air Force veteran who has shaped her diverse academic and military experiences into a unique perspective on bridging the knowledge gaps in today’s dynamic career landscape. With an interdisciplinary academic background ranging from Communication and Biology to Liberal Studies and Audio Engineering, topped by a Master’s degree in Learning Design and Technology, Jazmin blends a wealth of knowledge across numerous domains. This, coupled with her rich experience as a training instructor, evaluator, and development manager, uniquely positions her to understand and address the complex demands of modern industries and evolving career paths. Guided by her passion for lifelong learning and driven by her personal experience of transitioning from military to civilian life, Jazmin founded BAT to build connections, foster growth, and transform career narratives.

Build-A-Team (BAT), is a dynamic contract personnel company inspired by Jazmin Hammett, a USAF veteran, seasoned educator, and interdisciplinary learning strategist. Her extensive academic and experiential background includes degrees in Communication, Biology, Liberal Studies, Interdisciplinary Studies, Arts, and Audio Engineering. This diverse knowledge base powers BATed’s innovative approach in providing highly skilled individuals, partners, and teams to serve in a multitude of industries.
Jazmin’s expertise in Learning Design and Technology is the backbone of BATed, allowing the organization to leverage current trends such as microlearning and micro-degrees. This focus ensures continuous training and development for its personnel, enabling them to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing work landscape.
While BATed provides a platform for talent across the board, it holds a special commitment to veterans transitioning into civilian life. This mission is close to Jazmin’s heart, who herself navigated this path. To directly address these challenges, Jazmin established BATvet, a nonprofit arm of BATed, focusing on utilizing veterans’ military skills in meaningful civilian roles.
